training

In freediving consistency will always take you further than luck.

You don’t perfect your equalization technique, develop genuine relaxation, or build muscle memory by showing up for the occasional session. Relaxation is a skill too — it has to be trained. Progress comes from consistent practice, with someone who can see exactly where and why you’re getting stuck. Unlike our courses, equipment rental isn’t included in the price of training sessions. You can rent all the equipment you need for €15/day.

Freediving coaching (1 week)

If you’re looking to make a real step up — not just maintain the level you already have — this is our structured training option. Seven days built around the water: five days training at Lighthouse and Blue Hole, plus two dry days focused on equalization work, stretching and gentle recovery yoga. Because your body needs time to absorb the work too.

Before we start, we assess your current level and what you want to achieve, then build a training plan around what you actually need to improve. That’s how you make a real jump in level in just one week.

FAQ

Who are these sessions for?

Certified freedivers who want to keep improving specific aspects of their diving, such as equalization, relaxation, finning technique, duck dives, breathing and more.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

We provide all the equipment you need.

What does a week of training look like?

A training week consists of five days in the water and two dry days — because rest is important too. To complement the water sessions, we provide dry training tables and stretching exercises. All sessions are guided by an instructor.

EQ Coaching

(equalization coaching · SHARE method)

In person in Dahab or online from wherever you are.

Equalization is the number one barrier most freedivers run into. It’s usually not a lack of breath-hold, but not knowing how to manage pressure early enough. We work on equalization using the SHARE Method, a specific system designed to refine your equalization technique progressively and safely, both on dry land and in the water.

If you’ve been stuck at the same depth for a while, want to learn advanced Frenzel (mouthfill), or feel that equalization is holding you back, there’s a good chance the problem is technical — it’s not that you’re simply “not made for this”.

If you want to start working on your equalization, we offer regular one-to-one sessions by video call. We’ll guide you through dry exercises to work on the problem before your next session in the water.

Not sure if equalization is the problem?

We offer a free 30-minute assessment call. We’ll look at how you’re currently equalizing and tell you, with no pressure or commitment, what’s going wrong and how we would work on it.
